Our Story So Far
Founded in Burayu, Addis Ababa, Jenan Medical Center began as a vision: to create a place where every Ethiopian could access the same level of surgical care found in the world's best hospitals.

For over a decade, we grew from a small clinic into a full surgical speciality center with two theatres, a recovery ward, modern diagnostic equipment, and 24-hour emergency services.

Dr. Dejene Desalegn is the founder and owner of Jenan Surgical Speciality Center — a name well known and deeply trusted throughout Ashewa Meda and the greater Burayu community. With over 20 years of surgical experience, he built Jenan from a small clinic into a full surgical speciality center, personally overseeing thousands of successful procedures and mentoring the medical team that carries his standard of care forward every day.
